Modelling course

Soon it will be possible to take a three-day course in a beautiful location in southern Portugal, where you can model your own flowform. The course will be given in the renovated monastery ruins of ‘het Convento’ in Mertola.

Flowforms

Flowforms are water bowls in which water flows back and forth in a lemniscate, making it vital and full of energy. Water naturally wants to flow and move....I use flowforms and water swirlers to make the water for my paint mixtures vital and full of life.

You can also use a flowform for a pond or in combination with a bowl so that you can display it in your home. It is particularly interesting and fun to sculpt your own flowform and playfully observe how water begins to swing and move.

What will you learn?

  • background information about the secret power of water
  • what are flowforms and how do they work?
  • different modelling techniques and knowledge of materials (clay & tools)
  • background information about painting and anthroposophy.
